Uzbekistan significantly increased import of electric vehicles in last two years

In 2020, Uzbekistan imported 131 electric vehicles, spending $2.9 million on this, Spot writes with reference to the State Statistics Committee. 

Over two years, the indicator increased tenfold – in 2018, there were 13, in 2019 - 39, and at the end of 2020 – 131.

Most of the electric cars were brought from China – 92, there were also deliveries from South Korea – 13, Georgia – 7, USA – 7 and Germany – 5.
