The number of electric vehicles imported between January and June increased by 23,500 compared with the same period last year, representing a 2.6-fold rise.
China accounted for the overwhelming majority of the imports, supplying 37,560 electric vehicles to the Uzbek market.
Hong Kong supplied 141 vehicles, followed by South Korea with 80, Germany with 42 and the United States with 21. Another 30 electric vehicles were imported from other countries.
