Senate approves candidacy of Feruza Eshmatova for Ombudsman
At the plenary session of the Senate on February 5, the candidacy of Feruza Eshmatova has been approved for the post of Ombudsman.
Prior to her appointment, Feruza Eshmatova headed the Senate Committee on Gender Equality.
In accordance with a relevant decision of the Senate, Senator Malika Kadyrkhanova has replaced Eshmatova as the Gender Equality Committee Chairperson.
