New Deputy Minister of Agriculture appointed
A new deputy has been appointed for the Minister of Agriculture.
According to the press service of the ministry, Alisher Turayev has become Deputy Minister of Agriculture – Director-General of the National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture.
Alisher Turayev was born in 1961. He is a biologist-geneticist; he graduated from the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov.
He has worked at the University of Vienna, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Since June 2019, he has been working at the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
