New khokim appointed for Jizzakh’s Dustlik district
Dustlik district of Jizzakh region has held an extraordinary session of the council of people’s deputies. It was attended by Deputy Adviser to the President, Umar Ismailov, and the khokim of the region, Ergash Saliyev.
The session considered an organizational issue. Ergashev, delivering a speech, put forward the candidacy of Shavkat Darvishev for the post of district khokim. Deputies unanimously approved his candidacy.
Prior to his appointment, Shavkat Darvishev was the head of the regional finance department.
It should be recalled that Ulugbek Uzakov, a former head of Dustlik district, was appointed first deputy khokim of Tashkent region for agriculture and water resources in late January.
