Fraudster who promised help with enrollment in university for a large amount of money detained in Tashkent
The man was caught red-handed by law enforcement officers. A criminal case has been initiated on this fact.
In Tashkent, a fraudster, who had promised help with enrollment in a university for a large amount of money, has been detained, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
Reportedly, the man was detained while receiving $15,000 in cash. He promised help with enrollment in the Tashkent State University of Economics.
Currently, an investigation is ongoing.
