President to chair a meeting to critically review work in the construction sector

Today, March 3, the President of Uzbekistan will hold a meeting on the construction of residential buildings and the development of the mortgage market.

According to a Kun.uz source, more than 10% of all citizens’ appeals (over 100 thousand) received by the people’s reception offices are related to the housing issue.

The President is expected to announce an ambitious housing program for the population. This may be about the construction and leasing of social housing, easing the conditions of mortgages and granting subsidies for making the first installment and more.

In addition, the quality of construction works will be critically reviewed.
