“Those who have recovered from COVID-19 should also be vaccinated” – Botir Kurbanov

Botir Kurbanov, Deputy Head of the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, told whether it is necessary to vaccinate those who have recovered from COVID-19.
According to him, those who have had the coronavirus infection still need to be vaccinated.
“Due to the constant mutation of the virus and the likelihood of re-infection, vaccination is recommended regardless of whether a person has been previously diagnosed with COVID-19 or not,” Kurbanov said.
Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan plans to use two vaccines for mass vaccination against coronavirus – the Russian Sputnik V and the Sino-Uzbek ZF-UZ-VAC 2001.
