“Legal measures will be taken against those who do not comply with quarantine rules” – Tashkent city administration

At the 36th session of the Tashkent city council of people’s deputies, the head of the Tashkent city department of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service reported that irresponsible approach to quarantine rules in three districts has led to the spread of the disease.
With this in mind, a number of instructions were given to the heads of relevant organizations, and a decision was made to take measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection in Tashkent.
According to it:
- legal sanctions will be imposed on citizens who do not comply with the quarantine requirements in families where coronavirus infection has been detected;
- strict observance of quarantine requirements will be monitored during public and cultural events in Tashkent in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among the population;
- measures will be taken to hold sports competitions without spectators.
