Seven-year-old kid hit by car, killed at the scene of accident in Namangan
A seven-year-old kid, left unattended, ran right onto the roadway.
“The terrible tragedy occurred at about 5:00 pm on March 22. The first-grader ran out onto the road on the Gayrat mahalla, not noticing that a car was coming. He was hit by a Howo truck and died at the scene of the accident,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
A criminal charge has been filed on this fact under Article 266 of the Criminal Code. The driver faces imprisonment of up to seven years with deprivation of a certain right.
