Adobe registered as taxpayer in Uzbekistan

Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd has been registered as a taxpayer in Uzbekistan, Spot said referring to the State Tax Committee data.

It is a subsidiary of the American software developer Adobe, known for its products such as Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Premiere Pro and others.

The fact that the company has registered as a taxpayer in Uzbekistan means that when paying for the services, it is now necessary to take into account the VAT of 15%.

Since the beginning of 2020, foreign legal entities that sell services and goods in electronic form, the place of sale of which is Uzbekistan, are recognized as taxpayers in terms of such services provided to individuals.

The Tax Committee has created a VAT office that allows foreign internet companies operating in Uzbekistan to register and start paying taxes.
