On April 1, another 189 people tested positive for coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number of cases to 83,239.

According to the Ministry of Health, 142 cases were registered in Tashkent, 2 – in Karakalpakstan, 1 – in Andijan, 3 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Namangan, 10 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 2 – in Fergana and 24 – in Tashkent region.
So far, 81,303 people have recovered from the disease in the country. Currently, 1,306 patients are being treated in hospitals, 209 of them are in serious and 94 – in critical condition.
