A citizen of Azerbaijan was killed in a road accident in Tashkent.
As the press service of the capital’s police department reports, on April 10, two vehicles collided on Mekhrjon Street in Mirabad district: a Lacetti car, which was driven by a 65-year-old Azerbaijani citizen and a Malibu car, driven by a 28-year-old guy.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the collision was a turning maneuver in the wrong place by the Lacetti driver.

As a result of the road accident, a 63-year-old woman, a Lacetti passenger, as well as the drivers of both cars received bodily injuries and were hospitalized.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the Lacetti driver died from his injuries.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 266 (violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
