Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Tajikistan

This will be Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s fourth visit to Tajikistan as President of Uzbekistan.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Dushanbe on June 10-12 at the invitation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Asia-Plus reported citing a source in the Tajik government.

The two leaders are expected to discuss the prospects for further development of Uzbek-Tajik relations in all areas. Work on the implementation of previous agreements will also be analyzed.

Reportedly, a package of bilateral agreements in the fields of transport, energy, trade, finance, agriculture and science will be signed as part of the negotiations.
