Overall industrial output reached UZS 926.5 trillion in the first eight months of the year, up 8% from the same period in 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Manufacturing remained the dominant industrial sector, generating UZS 805.7 trillion, or 87% of total industrial output.
Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply accounted for UZS 58.2 trillion, representing 6.3% of industrial production.
Water supply, sewerage, waste collection and waste management generated UZS 4.8 trillion, equivalent to 0.5% of the total.
