Coronavirus cases near 88 thousand in Uzbekistan

On April 21, 384 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 87,935.

According to the Ministry of Health, 207 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 12 – in Karakalpakstan, 5 – in Andijan, 2 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Navoi, 3 – in Kashkadarya, 5 – in Namangan, 73 – in Samarkand, 4 – in Syrdarya, 8 – in Surkhandarya, 2 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 54 – in Tashkent region.

The total number of recovered has reached 85,007.

Currently, 2,288 people are being treated in hospitals. 238 of them are in serious and 113 – in critical condition.
