About 400 people died in traffic accidents in Jan-March 2021 – Road Safety Department

In the first three months of 2021, about 400 people died in traffic accidents.

According to the press service of the Road Safety Department, about 1,500 traffic accidents were recorded during the period under review.

“The main cause of traffic accidents was non-compliance with the speed limit,” the department said in a statement.

Also, according to studies, crossing the road at unspecified places leads to major road accidents in cities. The reason is a lack of pedestrian crossings.
