Uzbekistan Airways cancels several flights to major cities of Turkey and India
Uzbekistan Airways has canceled several flights to major cities in Turkey and India.
“In accordance with the decision of the Special Republican Commission, Uzbekistan Airways is forced to cancel several flights to Istanbul and Delhi,” the statement said.
The list of canceled flights to Istanbul and Delhi:
- HY 271/272, Tashkent – Istanbul / Istanbul – Tashkent, on May 26 and 31, 2021;
- HY 273/274, Tashkent – Istanbul / Istanbul – Tashkent, flights on 2, 4 and 5 days of the week from May 18 to May 31, 2021;
- HY 275/276, Samarkand – Istanbul / Istanbul – Samarkand, from May 17 to 31, 2021;
- HY 277/278, Fergana – Istanbul / Istanbul – Fergana, from May 19 to May 31, 2021;
- HY 279/280, Urgench – Istanbul / Istanbul – Urgench, on May 23 and 30, 2021;
- HY 421/422, Tashkent – Delhi / Delhi – Tashkent, on May 14, 21 and 28, 2021.
Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan would suspend flights to/from Turkey and India. In particular, from May 5 to June 1, the airports of Fergana, Urgench and Samarkand do not accept planes from Istanbul.
In addition, from May 10, all charter flights for tourists to India and Turkey are suspended until the epidemiological situation improves.
Also, from May 10, flights on the Tashkent-Istanbul route are reduced on a parity basis.
