Man detained for trying to bribe a police officer in Fergana
A man who tried to bribe a traffic police officer in Fergana region has been detained, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
According to the MIA press service, the man offered the officer $200 for not fining him for the traffic offense committed. The policeman warned the citizen several times that bribery entails criminal liability. However, the man continued his offer.
Consequently, he was detained red-handed in the inspector’s office with material evidence. The money was seized.
Documents on the fact of the incident were sent to the prosecutor’s office of the Kuva district.
