President Mirziyoyev to hold extended meeting to discuss financing of Sustainable Development Goals program

Presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov briefed the media on the events with the participation of the head of state planned for the week.

It is expected that there will be a presentation on the establishment of preschool education institutions in remote areas, a meeting on reforming the system of JSC Uzagrokhimoya.

It is planned to hold a videoconference on measures to implement mortgage programs in the regions, construct multi-apartment housing estates, providing them with infrastructure and improve the service system.

An extended meeting is also expected over the weekend to ensure the effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals financing program.

Sherzod Asadov said that the President will also deliver a speech at the second Partnership for Green Growth and Global Goals 2030 Summit, which will be held in the format of a videoconference on May 30 in Seoul, South Korea.

According to him, if there is a change in the planned events, their details will be announced at the next briefing.
