Traffic accident claims lives of four schoolchildren in Khorezm

On May 24, a tragic traffic accident occurred in the Yangiarik district, Khorezm region.

A resident of the same district, born in 1982, was driving a Nexia car. At the 14th kilometer of the Yangiarik-Khonka road, the driver hit six school graduates, who were walking on the side of the road, and fell into a ditch.

As a result, 3 schoolchildren died at the scene and 1 died at the hospital due to severe bodily injuries. 2 students were hospitalized.

A criminal case under Article 266-3 of the Criminal Code has been filed against the driver. A preliminary investigation is underway.
