At the next expanded meeting of the Special Republican Commission with the participation of deputies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis and scientists from scientific centers, the epidemiological situation associated with the coronavirus pandemic in our country was discussed, the Ministry of Health reports.
At the meeting, the reports of the responsible leaders were heard. Relevant departments were instructed to conduct explanatory work aimed at preventing the disease, as well as monitoring sanitary and epidemiological requirements, such as wearing masks by citizens in public places and maintaining social distance.
Also, in order to increase the activeness of the population in the vaccination process against coronavirus, instructions were given on the gradual intensification of vaccination measures for the population at risk, including citizens aged 50 years and older, as well as the teaching staff of higher education institutions, at the expense of the state budget.
Taking into account the increase in cases of coronavirus infection in recent days, instructions were given to analyze the state of preparation of medical institutions specialized in treating COVID-19 patients, and to form a reserve of necessary medicines.
