Transfer exam from a foreign university to be carried out on payment basis

A fee will be introduced for conducting transfer tests from foreign higher education institutions to universities in Uzbekistan.

A press conference was held with the participation of the Minister of Higher Education, the Minister of Public Education and the STC Director on the issue of admission to universities, Kun.uz correspondent reports.

According to the head of the State Testing Center Majid Karimov, a payment is being introduced for test assignments for transferring studies from abroad.

“Test assignments will be formed for those who want to transfer their studies from foreign universities to Uzbekistan. Students will have to pay for participation in the tests.

Transparency will be achieved through surveillance cameras in the large buildings we have chosen, under the same conditions as our traditional test,” the STC head said.

The transfer process will begin from July 15.
