Health Ministry once again asks people to follow quarantine rules, warns about negative consequences
A few days ago, in connection with the current epidemiological situation, the Special Republican Commission introduced a temporary restriction on the organization of all types of mass celebrations, sports competitions, concerts and other festive events.
In addition, from August 1, the number of guests in wedding ceremonies is set to be under 50.
“All these measures are aimed at preserving the health of the population. However, there are cases of gross violation of quarantine rules and restrictions at places,” the Ministry of Health said.
In particular, on July 13, at the Amir Temur Square in Tashkent, 150-200 young people gathered to meet a Russian blogger.
“As you can see in the video circulated on social networks, the youth participating in this event absolutely did not comply with the quarantine rules established in the country, did not observe the social distance, and neglected the mask regime,” the statement says.
The Ministry of Health noted that such cases may lead to an even greater spread of coronavirus infection and a worsening of the epidemiological situation.
“Newer strains of the virus are more infectious, have a shorter incubation period and are highly infectious. It is also possible that a person may not be aware of the processes taking place in his body. Therefore, we once again urge all citizens to strictly observe the rules and restrictions of quarantine, sanitary and hygienic requirements, not to gather in large numbers. We ask parents to give their children appropriate explanations on this matter and make sure that they refrain from visiting places where a large number of people gather,” the press service added.
The Ministry of Health also noted that according to the Administrative Responsibility Code, violation of the rules for combating epidemics can lead to prosecution in the manner prescribed by law.
