Chinese delegation arrives in Tashkent to discuss the launch of ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine production
At the invitation of the Ministry of Innovative Development and the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, a delegation of the Chinese company Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biopharmaceutical arrived in Tashkent.
The delegation includes the chief engineer of the company Wang Zijun, the head of the export department Chen Fangfu, as well as specialists Chu Yingjin and Li Zhifao.
The delegation arrived in Tashkent to hold talks on the launch of the production of Uzbek-Chinese vaccine in Uzbekistan, and experts will assess the infrastructure possibilities for the production of vaccines.
The Chinese Academy of Sciences is the initiator and coordinator of a project on the development of a candidate vaccine against coronavirus. The Center for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovative Development and the Research Institute of Virology of the Ministry of Health are recognized as co-authors of the vaccine due to their direct participation in the trial of the vaccine, as well as contribution to clinical research.
