Today, August 4, a meeting was held at the “Salar” sewerage facility with the participation of entrepreneurs working near the complex.
As the Tashkent city khokimiyat reported, it was noted that on the basis of requests from residents of nearby mahallas, a coordination working group was created. The working group studied in detail the connection of legal entities and individuals located along the “Salar” sewerage system and the Salar canal to the sewerage system in accordance with the established standards and compliance with the norms for the disposal of waste generated during production.
According to the results of the study, it was concluded that the enterprises operating in Tashkent, specialized in the processing of leather, textiles, slaughter of poultry and cattle, should be relocated to the “Special industrial zones” in Almalyk and Akhangaran district of Tashkent region.
“Therefore, at today’s meeting, members of the coordination working group of the city of Tashkent met with enterprises that are expedient to move to Almalyk and Akhangaran district of Tashkent region and held explanatory talks,” the statement says.
It was noted that the responsible persons were given the necessary instructions to improve the efficiency of work to overcome the problems associated with the “Salar” treatment facilities.
At the meeting, attention was drawn to the fact that after the work carried out, in particular, the discharge of untreated wastewater into the structure, the unpleasant smell that was present here earlier has significantly decreased.
“However, much remains to be done based on the conclusions of the working group,” the khokimiyat said in a statement.
