Bekzod Abdurakhmanov wins bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics
Freestyle wrestler Bekzod Abdurakhmanov (-74 kg) won the bronze medal in Tokyo 2020.

In the fight for the bronze medal, he managed to overcome the representative of Kazakhstan. In this stage, his rival was the medalist of the 2019 World Cup Daniyar Kaysanov.
During the fight, Abdurakhmanov fully used his capabilities and eventually won, adding another bronze to the piggy bank of the Uzbekistan national team.
Thus, the total number of medals won by Uzbek athletes – 2 gold and 2 bronze.
It should be noted that two-time World Cup medalist, two-time champion of the Asian Games Abdurakhmanov, 5 years ago, at the Rio 2016 Olympics, at the same stage, missed his chance.
Today, with his victory, he delighted all fans and added the Olympic bronze to a number of his awards.
