Spain to help Uzbekistan develop emergency medical services

The Uzbek Embassy has organized negotiations between Spanish companies and the Ministry of Health of our country, Dunyo IA reported.

The Spanish side at the meeting was represented by the leadership of the National Federation of Ambulance Employers ANEA, the company for the production of ambulances Rodriguez Lopez Auto and the IT employees of the PHEVOS IT Consulting company.

The main goal of the negotiations was to discuss issues of establishing cooperation in the field of medicine. In particular, a number of projects on the introduction of digital technologies in the management of the emergency medical service, training and education of emergency medical personnel, as well as equipping the emergency medical service with modern carriages of the domestic fleet were considered.

During the negotiations, the Spanish side expressed its readiness to implement joint projects to improve and introduce modern innovative information and communication technologies in the activities of the ambulance service, to open centers and schools for training ambulance crews and nurses, as well as to supply ambulances taking into account preferences of Uzbekistan.

The representatives of Uzbekistan noted that, in accordance with the instructions of the head of state, this area is currently at the stage of radical reform, primarily through the large-scale introduction of digital technologies, equipping with modern ambulances, improving the qualifications of paramedics. At the same time, the experience of Spain in this case is of particular interest to the Uzbek side.

Taking into account the vectors of cooperation proposed by the Spanish side, the leadership of the Ministry of Health determined that the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Aid will act as the main partner from the Uzbek side.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to discuss the details of the implementation of joint projects during the visit of a delegation of Spanish companies to Uzbekistan in the near future.
