Representatives of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Russia held talks with the chief of the group’s political office in Qatar amid growing concerns in the region over the Taliban’s military offensive across Afghanistan.

As reported by Parstoday, at the meeting the parties discussed the situation in Afghanistan.

A Taliban spokesman told the media that one of the leaders of the movement, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, met in Qatar with Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Hajiev and the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev.
