Wrestler from Uzbekistan wins silver at the World Championship
World Junior Wrestling Championship has been completed in Ufa, Russia.

From 16 to 22 August in the capital of Bashkortostan – Ufa, the world championship in wrestling among juniors was held. Representatives of freestyle, Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling competed.
Despite the fact that the national team of Uzbekistan was represented in almost all disciplines, only Alimardon Abdullayev, a Greco-Roman wrestler in the lightest (up to 55 kg) weight category, managed to rise to the podium.
In the final match, Alimardon Abdullayev lost to Iranian Amirrez Debozorgi (1:3) and won the silver medal of the championship.
