Ban on performing Friday prayers inside mosques lifted
From September 24, Friday prayers can be performed inside the mosque's main building. The requirement to hold prayers in open areas has been abolished.
This is stated in the new decision of the Special Republican Commission to combat coronavirus.
At a meeting of the Special Republican Commission, the proposal of the Muslim Board and the Committee on Religious Affairs to abolish from September 24 the restriction on Friday and other prayers was considered and approved.
Now Friday prayers and other daily prayers can be performed inside mosques.
