The opening ceremony in Hatay highlighted the project as a vivid example of the friendly relations and mutual harmony existing between the two nations. According to official reports, the decision to name the mosque "Bukhara" was a gesture of gratitude for the support provided by Uzbekistan during Turkey’s difficult periods.

The new mosque is strategically located at the heart of a large residential complex that encompasses approximately 3,200 households. The facility is designed to accommodate up to 500 worshipers at a time, providing a much-needed spiritual hub for the local community.

The building is characterized by its modern architectural solutions, comfortable amenities, and aesthetic design. Beyond fulfilling religious needs, the mosque is expected to serve as a social and spiritual center for the residents of the area.

At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized that this project will further strengthen the friendly bonds and humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey, ensuring that the spirit of brotherhood continues to flourish through such collaborative initiatives.
