Uzbekistan exports $215 million worth of polyethylene to 23 countries

In January-August 2021, Uzbekistan exported 213,000 tons of polyethylene to 23 countries for $215 million, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.

The export of polyethylene decreased by 32 thousand tons compared to the same period last year, the committee added.

During the reporting period, the republic exported polyethylene mainly to:

• Turkey – 61.1 thousand tons
• Russia – 40.5 thousand tons
• China – 40.2 thousand tons
• Latvia – 25.3 thousand tons
• Kazakhstan – 19 thousand tons
