In January-August 2021, Uzbekistan exported 213,000 tons of polyethylene to 23 countries for $215 million, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.
The export of polyethylene decreased by 32 thousand tons compared to the same period last year, the committee added.
During the reporting period, the republic exported polyethylene mainly to:
- Turkey – 61.1 thousand tons
- Russia – 40.5 thousand tons
- China – 40.2 thousand tons
- Latvia – 25.3 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan – 19 thousand tons
