Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and India discuss provision of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held talks in Nur-Sultan with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar within the framework of the CICA Ministerial meeting.
The parties discussed the prospects for trade and economic cooperation in various fields, expanding the dialogue of the parties within the framework of international organizations.
A thorough exchange of views took place on the current situation in Afghanistan, including on the provision of humanitarian assistance to the country.
The Indian side expressed its readiness to continue to actively cooperate with Uzbekistan in the establishment of a long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan.
