Cargoes, which include essential items, will be delivered by trucks to Mazar-i-Sharif through the Termez-Hairatan border checkpoint, Sputnik reports.
On October 15-17, a new batch of humanitarian aid is expected, which will come from the UN logistics center in Dubai.
Reportedly, since the beginning of October, about 40 wagons of food have already arrived in Termez by rail and delivered to Afghanistan under the UN World Food Programme.
Earlier it was reported that the UN would send three planes with humanitarian aid to the city of Termez, in order to then deliver them by trucks to Mazar-i-Sharif through the Hairatan border checkpoint.
