The deputy head of the Construction Ministry of the Russian Federation Nikita Stasishin told journalists about it.
“Right today, in Tashkent, qualification selections are underway for those specialties that were transferred to our friends in Uzbekistan, by the efforts of the companies that participate in the pilot project,” he said.
He added that now in Uzbekistan, not only employees of Russian development companies are selecting workers, but also contractor companies that build spaceports, refineries and other facilities.
Earlier, the Russian government approved a pilot project to attract 10,000 construction workers from Uzbekistan to the country, provided they are vaccinated against coronavirus infection or they have a document on confirming the disease treatment.
The project provided for the qualification selection of incoming specialists.
