The discussions focused primarily on expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two nations, according to Mirziyoyeva.

"Relations between Uzbekistan and Russia continue to develop rapidly," Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel, noting that numerous joint projects are currently underway across key sectors, including business, infrastructure, and culture.

The meeting comes ahead of several high-level bilateral events. The next meetings of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission and the Council of Regions are scheduled to take place in the coming days.

Mirziyoyeva expressed confidence that these upcoming events will provide additional momentum to all areas of the bilateral partnership.
