Uzbekistan exports $105 million worth of grapes to 43 countries in 9 months

In January-September 2021, Uzbekistan exported 140,000 tons of grapes worth $105.2 million to 43 foreign countries, the State Statistics Committee reported.
During the reporting period, major importers of Uzbekistan’s grapes were:
Russia – 58.1 thousand tons
Kazakhstan – 44.1 thousand tons
Kyrgyzstan – 15.3 thousand tons
China – 6.5 thousand tons
Turkey – 3 thousand tons
Saudi Arabia – 2.3 thousand tons
Ukraine – 2.2 thousand tons
Belarus – 1.7 thousand tons
Iraq – 1.3 thousand tons
Azerbaijan – 912.6 tons
Germany – 807 tons
In January-June 2021, 45,497 tons of grapes were grown in the country.
In September, grape prices fell by an average of 9.3% compared to August.
