According to Saidov, the meeting focused on advancing the comprehensive partnership between the two countries and implementing agreements reached by their leaders during high-level talks in Samarkand last year.

The ministers also reviewed the schedule of upcoming high-level visits and other joint events aimed at maintaining the momentum in bilateral relations.

Both sides welcomed the growing pace of political dialogue and exchanges, stressing the importance of strengthening political consultations and enhancing coordination between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Jordan.

The discussions also covered practical measures to expand cooperation in trade and investment, transport and logistics, tourism, agriculture, education, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

Saidov expressed confidence that the launch of direct flights between Amman and Tashkent, together with the work of the bilateral Business Council, would give fresh impetus to economic cooperation and elevate the partnership to a new level.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional and international developments. The two sides reaffirmed their readiness to strengthen practical cooperation within the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Non-Aligned Movement and other multilateral platforms.

Saidov described Jordan as an important and reliable partner for Uzbekistan in the Middle East and said Tashkent remains committed to further broadening the multifaceted partnership between the two countries.
