Payment amount for providing certain public services to be reduced
The government adopted a resolution “On amendments and additions to some decrees of the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the infrastructure for the provision of public services and the expansion of the population’s access to public services”.
The document reduced the amount of payment for the provision of a number of public services.
In particular, it was established that for the issuance of a duplicate of a qualification certificate on the level of proficiency in a foreign language, a fee will be charged in the amount of 10% of the BCA (previously 50% of the BCA).
The decree will come into force on December 1, 2021.
It should be recalled that from January 1, 2022, fees for the provision of a number of public services will be reduced, and for some, canceled. In particular, the amount of payment for issuing biometric passports to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for traveling abroad was previously set at 1.2 BCA, and from January 1, the amount will be 1 BCA.
The payment for the issuance of a new certificate of state registration to business entities was previously set at 1 BCA, now the fee will be 20% of the BCA. Also, the fee for inclusion in the register of private employment agencies, which used to be 1 BCA, is set as free.
The fee for state registration of law firms, law firms and bar associations was previously 2 BCAs, now it is set at 1 BCA.
