Russian IPG to introduce airport management systems in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan Airports and the Russian company IPG have signed an agreement for the supply of systems and subsystems for managing airport activities, Spot said with reference to the press service of the national company.
In all airports of Uzbekistan, together with Russian partners, several systems will be introduced:
• managing airport operational database - AODB;
• agreeing slots with airlines and forming a schedule - SLOT;
• visual informing of passengers through flight information display system - FIDS.
Uzbekistan Airports noted that the supplier was selected following a tender in which foreign companies Monitor Soft, ZAMAR, ARINC and TAV technologies took part.
“The company has broad competencies in airport activities, provided extensive product information and favorable commercial terms,” the statement said.
The parties did not disclose the cost of the contract.
