The issue of electricity supply was one of the main topics of discussion at the meeting between the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and his Kyrgyz counterpart Akylbek Japarov, which took place on November 5.
Kyrgyzstan is ready to buy electricity from Turkmenistan as well, along with gas. But this process again requires the participation of Uzbekistan as a country through which this transit will pass. According to the Kyrgyz side, this topic was also discussed at the meeting.
The parties exchanged views on the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the Irkeshtam-Daroot-Korgon-Kyzyl-Kiya highway, a trade and logistics center in the city of Kyzyl-Kiya and Kambar-Ata HPP-1.
The sides also considered the issues of cooperation in the spheres of agriculture and industry.
