Urgut district becomes a free economic zone

The Urgut district of the Samarkand region has become a free economic zone, a decree on this was signed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Sputnik Uzbekistan Telegram channel reports.
It is planned to produce innovative import-substituting products based on high technologies and export-oriented.
To expand the territory, it is planned to withdraw an additional 580.8 hectares of land for state and public needs.
