Nearly 18 thousand foreigners visited Uzbekistan for medical treatment in Jan-Sept 2021

According to the State Statistics Committee, in the first 9 months of 2021, a total of 1,135,621 foreigners visited Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the trip of foreign citizens:

Travel and rest – 106,628 people;
As part of their job – 40,883 people;
Medical treatment – 17,981 people;
Business trips – 10,827 people;
Education – 4,864 people.

Most of them -- 954,438 -- came to visit their relatives in Uzbekistan during the reporting period.
