Property tax for individuals to increase by 10%
As part of improving the tax policy in 2022, the budget envisages a number of changes. This was announced in the draft law on the state budget for 2022 and the conclusion of the Accounts Chamber on the budget.
The current value-added tax rate (VAT) remains at 15%.
Excise tax rates are expected to increase by an average of 10% from June 1, 2022. The rate of excise tax on imports of tobacco products (from January 1, 2022) and alcoholic beverages (from June 1, 2022) will be reduced by 10%
The tax rate on the property of legal entities will be reduced from the current 2% to 1.5%. It is planned to increase property tax rates for individuals by 10%.
