Russia’s Transmashkholding signs a memorandum on metro development in Tashkent
Tashkent Metro and Russia’s Transmashkholding (TMKh) have signed a memorandum of cooperation within the concept of developing the capital’s metro, Gazeta.uz reports.
Reportedly, this includes the introduction of digital systems in the metropolitan management process, improvement of security systems, the introduction of microprocessor systems in management and traffic control, the integration of ground passenger transport and metro networks.
The memorandum also envisages the introduction of a system of trade and advertising services in the metro area, assistance in the creation of a logistics center for the integration of the suburbs, urban passenger transport and the metro.
