Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Russia
On November 19, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Russia on a visit.
At the Moscow airport "Vnukovo-2", Mirziyoyev was met by the Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin and other officials.
Then Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for the Kremlin for talks with President Vladimir Putin.
At the meeting, the leaders of the two countries will discuss issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic partnership and alliance, the development of interaction in various directions.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke about the documents to be signed during the visit of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow.
“During the visit, a major political joint statement on cooperation in the field of international information security will be adopted. The Presidents will sign 18 documents aimed at further deepening collaboration in various fields,” he said.
