“This is the first time in the company’s history that this has happened, but we have repeatedly reported that today the global automotive industry is going through difficult times and our company is no exception.

In this regard, the management of UzAuto Motors JSC apologizes to customers for the inconvenience and believes that this decision is the only right one, taking care of the customers in the current situation.

It is noted that within 3 days after the application of the customer, all funds paid under the concluded contracts will be refunded in full. The company will also provide an additional 5% of the prepayment amount as compensation.

Reportedly, customers who need to buy a new crossover can opt for Equinox or Tracker models instead of Captiva 5. Delivery time for the replaced cars will be no later than January 2022, in accordance with the contracts concluded for Captiva 5.

Customers are also encouraged to consider buying a Malibu, Cobalt or Trailblazer instead of Captiva 5 based on the above deadline, the statement said.

Earlier, it was reported that UzAuto Motors dealerships were canceling contracts for the updated Chevrolet Captiva.

An automobile customer, who contacted the author of the Kurbanoff.net Telegram channel, said that he received a call from the car dealership and was informed that the new Captiva would not be delivered. This was explained by the fact that the new car did not fit into the region.
