11.5% of Uzbekistan’s population receives pensions and allowances – Pension Fund
The number of people receiving pensions and allowances from the Pension Fund exceeded 4 million on November 1.

Their number increased by 178.6 thousand people (4.7%) compared to January 1, 2021.
Reportedly, more than 2,966,700 of them receive age pensions, 397.6 thousand – allowances for persons with disabilities and 198.6 thousand – allowances for persons who lost their breadwinners.
56.7% of pensioners in the country are women, the Pension Fund said.
Earlier it was reported that in 2022, 11.7 trillion soums would be allocated for expenditures related to the increase in salaries, pensions, stipends, allowances and tariffs for some services.
