Uzbekistan increases banana imports
Uzbekistan imported 58.6 thousand tons of bananas from 10 foreign countries in January-October 2021.

The import of bananas increased by 33.1 thousand tons compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee informed.
During the period under review, in the first 10 months of the current year, Uzbekistan imported bananas mainly from:
- Ecuador - 57.8 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 531 tons
- Turkey - 335.2 tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 238.2 tons
- Russia - 58.4 tons
- India - 20.8 tons
